And just like that, 2019 has come to close. It honestly feels like not too long ago, I was sitting in the same position as I am now, writing about how my year has gone and considering the possibilities for the year ahead. The difference is instead of anticipating massive milestones, I look back with a great fondness over the memories I made.
2019 certainly had quite a few magical moments, but I could never share them all in a single blog post- there are far too many stories and emotions for that. Instead, this year, I’ll be looking back on the biggest milestones I faced this year.
In March, I celebrated my blog’s first anniversary, and my YouTube channel’s first anniversary in April. After a year of creating content, I felt that I truly settled down and found my unique voice and my own personal brand. With this, I also discovered who I truly am on the inside. My pages not only grew in size, but also in significance. My content became a way for me to experiment, try new things, and reflect the many memories I had created in such an eventful year. I also began to settle down into a posting schedule, and even though I wasn’t able to stick to it perfectly, I found a consistent haven in my content creation.
I had my last semester of high school, which was certainly a time to remember. Between prom, graduation, and all of the little moments in between, I couldn’t be happier with how my high school experience ended. Yet, starting college has certainly been the highlight of my year. I found the most amazing friends that have changed my life, and had the best experience in all my classes. On top of that, I had some of the most amazing adventures, including two trips to the most magical place on Earth.
2019 was a great year, but I know 2020 will have even more magic, adventure, and happiness. I’m sure quite a few moments will make it to my platforms as well, so be sure to follow along to see them all.
Happy New Year!!
