Welcome to my blog everyone! Though my blog is all set up, I thought it would be a good idea to share a little bit more about my style and what you’ll be seeing me post here.
For starters, I would describe my style as very girly. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved wearing skirts, dresses, and cute sets everyday. I would also say that I do tend to dress a little more on the fancy side, even to school. I do wear more casual outfits a lot, but I try to make them look well put together and nice. I love to wear prints and colors as well as clothing with interesting details and designs.
Right now, I find myself shopping at a bunch of different stores. I really like shopping at Lilly Pulitzer, and looking around Vineyard Vines and Kate Spade because I find myself satisfied with both the colors and the styles. However, I do also enjoy shopping at American Eagle and Aerie, Francesca’s, Garage, PINK, Brandy Melville, Lauren James, and Hollister. It’s fun to browse at Romwe, Shein, Jadelynn Brooke, and Show Me Your Mumu, but they unfortunately do not have any physical stores near me where I can go and try their items on.
If we’re going to talk about my all around style, we also have to talk makeup and accessories.
I seriously love makeup. I do consider myself a makeup addict. I constantly find myself looking at Sephora, Ulta, and most recently, Riley Rose. Some of my favorite brands are Huda Beauty, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Laura Lee Los Angeles, Fenty Beauty, Becca, Urban Decay, Tarte, Morphe, and Too Faced. I plan on posting soon with a list of all of my current must-have makeup products that I can’t stop myself from using. While I do love all parts of makeup, I would have to say that my favorite parts are eyes, highlighter, and lips.
I also love wearing jewelry on a daily basis. I wear the Kate Spade gumdrop studs (such a great outlet find) all the time because they honestly go with everything, and they are super comfortable. I like wearing rings, and my favorites are the Alex and Ani ones that are resizable and wrap around your finger (the seashell and the whale’s tale are so cute). I love necklaces and chokers. I’ve gotten most of my chokers from Francesca’s or American Eagle. Most of the necklaces I wear right now either have a special meaning, or are customized to have my name or monogram. In terms of bracelets, I usually wear my Alex and Ani classic style or kindred cord, a Lokai bracelet, or my Pandora which has charms representing meaningful people and places in my life.
