And they all lived happily ever after, but now, this is where the real story begins.
Last week, I graduated high school. Since then, I’ve been attending various graduation parties and saying my goodbyes to the life and friends I’ve know for roughly fourteen years. Now, a week into my summer vacation, I’m beginning to restart my life and consider how I’ll continue my adventure from here. Sure, I know I won’t change entirely, but I’m getting ready to start a new chapter of my life, so I’m also getting ready to change myself.
I want to be more adventurous. I tended to be fairly shy and reserved, but I don’t want to leave college with any major regrets, so I’m hoping to be more open to new things, and not be so nervous about trying different experiences.
I’m also trying to reorganize my priorities. As many of you know, college brings an entirely new schedule, most often with more “free” time. I want to make sure that I’m maximizing the time I’m not using to focus on my academics. There is so much to do and see, and I don’t want to ever feel like I’m wasting my time or that there is a better way I could’ve spent it.
There will be a lot of change coming for me, and I’m ready to hopefully embrace all of it. I also intend to continue documenting my thoughts and adventures here, as well as on my YouTube channel, Terrifically Toni. My blog has become such a sanctuary for me, and I cannot wait to continue with it in the next part of my life. For those who have been following along already, thank you again for your support. For my new friends, I hope you enjoy following my journey. There’s a lot more to come, and I truly can’t wait to share it all.
High school was certainly a roller coaster ride, and now I can’t wait to see what college and beyond holds for me. I’m ready to live my dream and find my happily ever after.
See ya real soon,
