Ulta Beauty Semi-Annual Event Week 1 Picks

Ulta Beauty just announced the all-new Semi-Annual Beauty Event and it is already starting to take over my brain capacity. It’s like the old 21 days of beauty events with different deals and steals every day, but instead of being focused on a specific category of the store, the new model spans the entire store every single day. How cool is that? The first week of products has already been announced with both online and in-store offerings. Since I’m a self-proclaimed Ulta addict and general beauty lover, I wanted to share my top picks from each week of sales!

Peach & Lily Ginger Melt Oil Cleanser

This one is a new favorite to the list, but has quickly become a daily essential I don’t think my skincare routine could live without. I use this at night as the first step in a double cleanse and it is gentle, calming, and takes all of my makeup off easily. I also believe it has helped clear some of my clogged pores a bit and balance the overall oiliness of my skin throughout the day! It just so happens to be perfect timing that this goes on sale right as it was already on my to-reorder list.

MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation

As an oily skin, acne-prone girly, I definitely have struggled with finding the right foundation that wouldn’t make my skin look greasy, dry it out, or break me out. I also didn’t want anything too heavy or too cakey, so I figured a powder foundation would be the right direction to look. This MAC one came up as the most popular powder foundation, so I tried it, and I fell in love. It’s very blendable and the coverage is easily buildable, and it leaves my skin with such a smooth, natural finish. It makes a great base for my other face products, and it can also be used as a concealer in a rush!

NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer

I can’t even tell you how long I’ve used this concealer and haven’t even considered trying another. I typically just use a little bit to cover breakouts and scarring and it works so effectively. It’s been a staple in my routine for years, so this was a very quick “add to list” this sale.

Pureology Color Fanatic Multi-Tasking Leave-In Conditioner

To be completely honest, I’ve only used the free sample size of the Pureology leave-in conditioner a few times, but it’s good enough I’m considering making the switch from the Living Proof spray I’ve been using for a few years (or at least alternating between the two). I’ve been using Pureology for most of my hair routine lately and it’s significantly improved the quality of my hair – my scalp feels really balanced and my hair is always so soft and shiny!

Tarte Maneater Mascara

I was absolutely obsessed with the Maneater line when it first came out and I can’t say I love it any less now (and a moment of mourning for the Maneater liquid eyeliner – you were bigger than the whole sky). The Maneater mascara was one of my favorite mascaras that I’ve ever used and has comfortably landed a spot on my regular options list.

IT Brushes for Ulta

If you need new brushes, this is your best bet! I use a mix of brushes, but the face brushes from IT Brushes for Ulta have been a staple in my routine. The shape and softness are perfect for what I need, and this sale, there’s tons of options throughout the entire week!

You can find links to all of my favorites from the sale on my LTK profile (linked below)! I will be back with updates each week of the Ulta Semi-Annual Beauty Event, but until then, be sure to let me know what’s on your wishlist this week!
