What I Wore over Spring Break

Happy Sunday everyone! I know I did a whole series on what I did over Spring Break, but I also wanted to go a little more in detail about what I wore over Spring Break on my family vacation, especially since style is a major part of my blog!

Since Saturday was a driving day, I really wanted to dress comfy. I wore a pair of Lilly Pulitzer full length Luxletic leggings in the new Jellies be Jammin and a plain long-sleeve Vineyard Vines shirt. This outfit kept me warm in the chilly temperatures I drove through, but also gave me a lot of flexibility to move around and get comfortable during a long car ride. We only made about two stops on Saturday, so I didn’t get to get a picture of my outfit!

On Easter Sunday, I wanted to look cute while also having some comfort because there were still a few hours of driving until we reached our destination. I decided to wear a white long-sleeve top (I don’t remember where it was from) with a Lilly Pulitzer Pink First Impressions skirt that I found online. The outfit was great for sitting in the car for a few hours, but also looked really cute once we made it to Tennessee and started doing things! It was also great because the weather was a little mixed that day, but I never got too hot or too cold in my outfit.

On Monday, we were spending the whole day in the Pigeon Forge area, and the weather was definitely supposed to be nice, so I wanted to dress for spring and have an outfit that would look great in pictures. I wore a Garage dress that a recently bought. It’s super soft and I got so many compliments on it, and I love the way it looked in all of my pictures. I also didn’t need a sweater most of the day, and that really made it feel like Spring.

On Tuesday, we were driving from Pigeon Forge, TN to Williamsburg, VA. I wasn’t exactly sure what the weather was supposed to be like that day, so I decided to wear my Lilly Pulitzer Carlita Set because it’s perfect for a variety of weather conditions. Plus, it is really soft and comfy, so it was great for sitting in the car for a while. When we did get to Busch Gardens, the set looked adorable in the few pictures that we took. If Lilly Pulitzer makes this set again in a new print, I may have to consider buying it because I love it so much and wear it all the time!

On Wednesday, we were spending the full day in Williamsburg, and most of it would be in Busch Gardens. It was supposed to rain that day, but thankfully, it stayed super sunny the whole time! I decided to wear my Lilly Pulitzer shirt in Trunk in Love and an American Eagle denim skirt that is fairly new. I couldn’t have been happier with my outfit that day, as I loved the way it came out in pictures and I was comfortable the whole day. Because it was supposed to rain, I did bring along my Pretty Little Monograms rain jacket, but I didn’t get to use it.

On Thursday, we were driving home from Williamsburg, but I knew we would be stopping to pick up the ducklings that we will be taking care of! I thought it would be a good idea to wear something comfy, mostly tight fitting, and easy to wash (just in case the ducks made a mess). I wore a long-sleeve, lace-up detail American Eagle top and a pair of American Eagle jeggings (favorite jeans ever!). Luckily, the four ducklings didn’t make a mess, but it was a good choice for sitting in the car, and sitting with four ducks.

Friday was my first day home after vacation. I had made plans to hang out with one of my friends, but it was also a little chillier than I was used to. I wore my Lilly Pulitzer Ophelia dress and a pair of plain leggings, which is one of my go-to everyday outfits. I unfortunately did not get a picture in this outfit either.

Saturday was a chill day, and I really didn’t have any real plans. I wore a sweater and a pair of jeans from American Eagle, and it was a good pick for just getting some work done and playing with the ducklings (they’re growing up so fast!).

Sunday was also a pretty chill day, and I did get some work done for school and for my blog. I also played with my ducklings a lot. I wore a comfy Lilly Pulitzer palmetto dress with a pair of leggings, as well as a Lilly Pulitzer flamingo necklace. Like the previous two days, I did not really have an opportunity to take a picture of my outfit.

The entire break, I wore a pair of Kate Spade stud earrings, and a Mickey head monogrammed necklace from Cora’s Den on Etsy. I also had my pair of pink Adidas superstars, a pair of plain Sperry’s, and my Kate Spade polka dot backpack. In terms of makeup, I used all my basic items for my face. I used the Anastasia Soft Glam palette for my eyeshadow, Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, NARS creamy concealer, Kat Von D Shade and Light Contour palette, Milani rose blush in Romantic Rose, Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil, Urban Decay Rebound Primer, Cover FX matte setting spray, Too Faced Better than Sex mascara, MAC Pearlmatte face powder in Oh My Passion, and Anastasia Sun Dipped Glow Palette whenever I did full face. I either used the Fenty Mattemosielle in Candy Venom or the Huda Beauty liquid matte in Trophy Wife. Some days, I decided to only do my eyeshadow, eyebrows, and lip color.

I hope this post gives some inspiration for some spring outfits! Comment down below what your favorite outfit from this post was!

See you soon,

Toni
