Christmas is almost here! Whether you’ve been going to holiday parties for weeks already, or you’re looking for a cute and cozy Netflix-binging outfit for Christmas morning, I feel that we can all relate to the struggle of finding the perfect outfit. Today, I’ll be sharing my favorite stores to find the perfect items for every holiday occasion. I hope you guys enjoy!
The Chill Look: Aerie is the perfect store for a chill Christmas look! From comfy sweatshirts to cute printed leggings, Aerie has all the cozy winter essentials and more. Whether you want fleece or flannel, or Sherpa or waffle, Aerie truly has it all. Plus, if you’re looking for some fun accessories, games, or last minute gifts, Aerie’s accessory section is sure to please.
For Casual Gatherings: American Eagle has adorable items for a more casual holiday gathering with friends. Many of the items are super soft, and can be dressed up or down for any level of event (their accessory section is also totally festive!). PacSun also has a large selection of more casual items, but they do tend to be a bit more formal or a bit more expensive.
For a Tacky Christmas Party: Although it may not seem like it, Target has an amazing selection of ugly Christmas sweaters and silly holiday accessories! A few years back, my best friend and I got matching penguin sweaters from Target. Every time I go in around the holidays, I can’t help but spot funny tops. If you’re looking for something a bit more unique (or you have something very specific in mind), Amazon has hundreds on designs, and even some that are slightly customizable.
For a Formal Holiday Party: Francesca’s has the prettiest dresses and party items for both Christmas and New Year’s! If you’re looking for glowing glitter or unique embroidery, the boutique’s racks have you covered. Plus, there’s an accessory table filled with jewelry in every shape and color you could imagine to go with your new outfit. Altar’d State also has a ton of amazing items, but unfortunately, the brand has fewer locations than Francesca’s.
For a Christmas by the Beach: If you’re celebrating a Christmas in the sand, Lilly Pulitzer and Lauren James are the stores to check out! We all know that Lilly is the unofficial attire of Palm Beach, and they have tons of party dresses available even as a part of their resort winter line! However, if you’re looking for a more traditional winter look with that total girly vibe, Lauren James is the place to go. Their holiday collection is full of styles that are classically girly and preppy, but they also come in colors that are perfect for the holidays.
